Huge growth spurt with nutty highs (especially around 3-4 am) followed by low after low after low. We rarely change our pump settings anymore and just do temp basals and changes as needed because it is too much to keep up with. I know the day is coming when we'll be wondering from day to day if it's 'right' just hoping they stay at bay for a while longer!! I thought that this was what every D-rent went through with their kiddos. I hope we can reach some of that normalcy that you talked about so d could fade in to the background. For you I am glad that your baby is at least one before having to deal with the crap D throws at us. Juggling a newborn and D had to be tough enough but add this stress to the mix, I can't imagine! I hope things stabilize for you soon.Heidi =)https://www.blogger.com/profile/03050944024956869185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-445458241993622842.post-11022768587716575312011-06-03T23:31:06.254-07:002011-06-03T23:31:06.254-07:00We're going through a similar phase with Jack ...We're going through a similar phase with Jack right now. We can't seem to keep him in range for any length of time. So frustrating! And for our kids, these swings mean physical symptoms. That's what really gets me. We work hard to stabilize their numbers, but in the meantime, they endure the highs and lows. Hope things get easier for you soon!!!Heidi / D-Taleshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16203534776909805264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-445458241993622842.post-50723763366745199042011-06-03T22:21:38.696-07:002011-06-03T22:21:38.696-07:00I hear ya!
