Things about me you might not know...

Well I guess since everyone else admitted to reading Shamaes post I will too...

Things about me you might not know...
  • I'm a  huge pack rat, my husband thinks I need therapy! But I like to hold on to stuff, you never know when you might need it! For example: I held on to every baby thing for 5 years, after 2 years of not getting pregnant again my hubby MADE me get rid of it all! Now I'm 7 months pregnant and have to buy EVERYTHING all over again!

At least I keep it all organized right???

  • I'm a basket case! Not in the way you might be thinking but I LOVE baskets!!! I have baskets for everything!

Baskets for shoes...

Baskets for measuring cups...

Baskets for crafts...

Baskets for gum...

Many Many Baskets for Toys! One baskets per group of toys (Hot Wheels, Cars, Legos, Army, Dollhouse, Barbie’s, Ponies, Dress-up, I could go on and on!) I have a total of 4 of these shelves, each hold about 8 or 9 baskets...

  • I buy almost everything in bulk, even if it's a years supply, but only if it's on sale...
Tissues, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, diapers and wipes (for a baby that's not even born yet)...

Propel aka: "Grape Water"...

Over 300 flossers...

6 shaving creams, 8 deodorants, 8 new razors/refills, all still left from my last shopping trip back in November...

  • I have a tiny bit of OCD, but only about certain things. A pile of mail can sit on the counter for weeks and I could care less but I like everything else done a certain way...

I like the dishwasher organized by size and color...

I like all the books on the shelf organized by size (very hard to keep done with kids)...

Man I could go on and on...but the kids are in the bath and I hear a TON of splashing so I'd better go mop up the floor!
I may post a part 2 but being that I Procrastinate on everything I wouldn’t hold your breath!

I try to keep all the toys and such organized too...but your bookshelf is DIVINE! Mine is so sad, it's not even funny. All those kids books...and they just shove them in there with no care of size or shape. I bow to your baskets. LOVE THEM!

I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don't know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.

SERIOUSLY WOMAN you are one organized girl. I am envious of your dishwasher...I just throw in stuff willy-nilly - drives my husband nuts. I am a basket girl too, but not to the same extent...and could totally feel your angst with the bath water splashing! ARGH.

I guess I should start thinking about mine soon...and share a little bit about the crazy Beta Buddy lady. xoxo

Thanks so much for your comment on my list! :) I loved your list. We are a lot alike! I organize with boxes, too, but mine aren't as pretty as yours. :) I'm a bit OCD about the dishwasher and bookcases, too. I also organize my closet by types of clothes and colors. I buy in bulk and love a good sale. I enjoy Propel, both grape and berry flavors. It's great to get to know you!

Your dishwasher picture cracked me up - it reminded me of my mom, who must make sure there is a fork, knife, and spoon in each silverware cubby in the dishwasher.

I used to organize my closet by color, but it is one of the many things that have fallen by the wayside in the past year! Maybe someday I'll get back to all those things...
